Twofold Secret is an indie studio based in Baltimore, MD. Founded in 2010, Twofold Secret began as a developer of browser-based games (Where We Remain, Sanctuary 17, Alight) but has transitioned to downloadable titles (Sought, Camp Keepalive).
Twofold Secret is composed of two people: Joel Haddock, who is responsible for art and design, and Chris Klimas, who codes. Chris also created the popular open-source game creation tool Twine.
The demo provides an endless onslaught of top-down terror, as shamblers shamble and werewolves devour every last child. The theme is strong and the variety of monster behaviour makes for compelling tactical decisions. I hunger for more.

The first thing you need to understand about Keepalive is that it's not just an homage to horror flicks... the game itself is a shockingly deep turn-based strategy game, played out between monsters, counselors and kids as they scramble to eat, save and wander, respectively.
Jared Rosen, Indie Statik
I laughed aloud twice during the brief tutorial, and while that's not always a good thing when it comes to a horror-themed game, the well-crafted strategy elements ensure that players will still be on the edge of their seats while playing — even if they're laughing in the process.
